Dr. Hough is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He served as a U. S. Navy Corpsman from 1969 to 1973 attached to the Marine Corps. He married his high school sweetheart, Tara, in 1970. They have two adult children, a son who lives in San Diego and a daughter who lives in Washington. Dr. Hough has been practicing dentistry in Yucca Valley since 1981 and has been living in your community for over 43 years.

Dr. Hough spends many hours involved in furthering his dental education by constantly attending seminars on how to bring the best technology, care, patient comfort, and anxiety management to his patients.

Although family time is an important part of their lives, the Hough's have found time to spend many hours giving back to our community. In 1986, the Hough's helped start the Fourth of July Fireworks celebration which had now become a staple in Yucca Valley.

The Hough's took over the Miss Yucca Valley Pageant in 1998 and have organized it since that time along with the help of the Rotary Club of Yucca Valley. It is now noted as a premier event for the young women in high school. The Doctor has been in the Rotary Club of Yucca Valley since 1986 and has been its President twice. Yucca valley sits in the middle of the High Desert, as such water is a major concern. Dr. Hough was elected to the High Desert Water District Board of directors in 2005 and will serve until 2026. Dr. Hough feels much honored that the citizens of our community support and trust him to this very important position.

Michelle Nemback-Fuentes has been a dental hygienist for over 17 years and earned her dental hygiene degree at San Joaquin Valley College in 2004. She previously worked for Dr. Steven Geduld in 29 Palms for 13 years until he retired in July of 2021. Michelle is married and has a loveable 7-year-old daughter. She loves engaging with and caring for her patient's dental hygiene needs. She strives to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible while being efficient and thorough with their treatments. She is very attentive and has been told that she has a gentle touch while cleaning teeth. Her personal goal is to make everyone feel comfortable during their dental cleanings and depart with an extremely positive experience. She is a very kind, caring and compassionate individual who takes pride in treating her patients to the best of her abilities.

Taylor Spitz started her dental career with this office six years ago as a hygiene assistant. As an assistant, she became intrigued with this field and decided to continue her education and move further up in her career. Taylor decided to pursue her studies locally at CMC then got accepted into hygiene school in 2021. After two years of studying dental hygiene, she graduated from San Joaquin Valley College and moved back home. Taylor is excited to be back working in an office that has supported her and her dreams. Taylor’s main goal is to build a relationship with her patients and to create a comfortable environment where people can trust her. Taylor would love to give back to her community by providing exceptional care and educate her patients on oral health. Though she may be a new hygienist, she is very knowledgeable and experienced. Taylor has been trained by some of the best hygienists in the basin, and cannot wait to treat her community.

She has been with Dr. Hough for many years. She is passionate about Dentistry, Patient Care, Education and the overall experience for our patients. Lori Strives to give each patient individualized and immediate attention. With Lori's vast experience, she continues to stay ahead of the ever-changing Dental technologies by attending dental conventions, seminars and webinars and by enrolling in continuing education classes specific to the dental field of practice. Lori is married her hobbies include sailing, horseback riding and traveling.

Vanessa graduated from Yucca Valley High School in 2006. She went on to College of the Desert to receive her Liberal Arts Associate Degree. She then attended Kaplan College in 2010 and did her internship with Dr. Hough. Vanessa has been with Dr. Hough ever since. She enjoys working in the dental field and helping patients with their dental care. Vanessa is married and has three kids. She loves spending her free time with her kids and husband, watching them play ball, creating memories, and traveling. 

Natalie has been in the dental field since 2005. She has worked in many different areas of dentistry. Her goal is to help educate patients in understanding their dental needs. Her hobbies include off-roading, hiking, yoga, and boating. She loves to spend time doing these activities with her husband and friends.

Jasmyne Gates graduated in 2022. She took part in the Dental Assisting program her senior year of high school. We are happy to have her as part of our team. Her hobbies include traveling, thrifting, and photography.

Jacqueline recently moved to the desert from Texas. She is currently taking classes to become a Dental Assistant and is excited to bring the best treatment to all our patients. She enjoys exploring, hiking, and spending time with her husband.
